This page explains what information NewDays handles when you read the site. We try to collect as little as possible.
Who is responsible

What we collect
- Server logs. When your browser requests a page, our web server records the IP address, the time, the page requested, the referring page and the browser’s user-agent string. We use these logs to keep the site running and to detect abuse. They are kept for up to eight weeks and then deleted.
- Search. If you use the site search, the words you search for are part of the page address and therefore appear in the server log.
- Email. If you write to us, we keep your message and address for as long as needed to deal with it.
What we do not do
- There are no reader accounts, comments or newsletter sign-ups on NewDays.
- We do not set cookies for readers.
- We do not use analytics or tracking scripts, and the site loads no JavaScript for readers.
- Fonts and images are served from our own server, not from third-party services.
- We do not sell or share personal data.
Advertising
Advertising on NewDays is currently served directly from our own site, without an advertising network and without tracking. If you follow a sponsored link, the destination site has its own privacy practices. If we start working with an advertising network, this page will be updated before that happens.
Links to other sites
Articles link to their sources. Those sites are not operated by NewDays and have their own privacy policies.
Service providers
The site runs on a rented server, and the domain’s name servers are operated by Cloudflare. A hosting provider can technically access the data stored on its servers.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you and to have it corrected or deleted. Write to the contact address above. Because we do not link server logs to individuals, we may need the IP address and time of your visit to find anything.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date below changes with it.
